Good things deserve to last.
We make it easy.
Our story
Svift was started by three childhood friends who realised that many people skip repairs because they're a hassle, not because they're expensive.
Working as gardeners alongside our studies, we saw expensive gear sitting unused in sheds and garages. For many, the friction was getting the gear to the workshop: being in the right place, getting the car dirty with the bike and setting aside hours for a simple tyre change.
We started by picking up skis for service. Then came bikes, lawnmowers, prams and more.
Early on, we saved a lawnmower from being thrown away. The customer had actually decided to scrap it, but had it repaired by us for NOK 600 in total. That was exactly what we wanted to show: people choose repair when it's easy.
The name Svift came from it being the word that best described how we wanted the whole process to feel, from booking to delivery. Simply «Svift».
Today we pick up and deliver in Oslo, Bergen and Trondheim, with our own vans and young drivers who drive alongside their studies. Towards the end of 2026 we'll take what we've learned to the US.
